With more than 30 years in the health care provider industry, Chris has served as a healthcare practitioner, human capital consultant and organizational strategy expert. She began her career in peri-operative services and as a cardiac clinical nurse specialist – with stints at Barnes/Jewish (BJC), St. Louis University Hospital, Kaiser Permanente (Los Angeles), and UCLA Medical Center – before moving into strategic and operational roles with various organizations.

Chris is recognized for her ability to bring clarity to the challenges faced by her clients, and for her solution-focused approach. She assists clients in designing creative and workable actions to achieve personal, team and organizational goals. Her genuine regard for others enables her to quickly build trust with her clients. Her practice includes career & executive coaching, leadership assessment, as well as organizational structure assessment and cultural integration. Chris has been a key contributor for nationwide human capital consulting firms working with publicly and privately held, as well as early stage growth talent advisory firms. Her portfolio focuses on leading academic medical centers, healthcare services, research institutes, as well as not-for-profit healthcare organizations and industry-based innovation groups. In addition to conducting C-level search, she has taken an active role in leadership training and development for hundreds of executives and physician leaders, helping them to acquire new skills, take advantage of mentorship and team-building programs, and transition smoothly into new positions and expanded responsibilities.

Chris has additional career experience in the area of strategy consulting. She has been an advisor for an academic medical center on their physician alignment and community outreach program; worked for a healthcare architecture firm, where she served as project manager on facility master planning engagements for academic and tertiary medical centers; and assisted healthcare providers in identifying service delivery needs and developing growth plans in their respective markets.
